My Igorot

There was no way the igorot was going to take my head for 10 pesos.... I was going to take his! hahahaha (evil laugh)!

Mine's View

I went on a mini-break with my home-fries... Ate Terry, Ate Caring, and Ate Shirly... we had a grand ol' time in the former summer capitol of the Philippines, Bagio!

Bonding

The weekend after Valentine's Day, I went on a date with my hommie, Jun-jun (Cesar, Jr). He's the son of Nanay Tina, one of the house parents, and I'm his educational sponsor, so we bonded. We hung out at Mega Mall... ate at Jollibee, watched Night at the Museum, and played arcade games at Timezone. I think this was the first time that he got to go out without his family, so he was excited. Jun-jun is quiet, but has passion, as you can see the intensity on his face playing the motorcycle racing game :) The top pic was probably the twentieth pic the arcade boy tried to take at the end of the virtual roller coaster ride (I was really tired of keeping a pose at that point).

My Obsession

I have one more notch to put onto my belt of Asian-ness... but it does make for a cute picture :)

I, and a few members of the staff, just recently completed watching 24 hours of the hit Korean dramedy, Princess Hours. Even though the story may seem a lot like Full House, it doesn't compete with the love pentagon, palace, and fashion in PH.

Sunday Dinner

Every Sunday after church in Pinagbuhatan, all the church members eat lunch together. Half of the congregation is kids, so here are some of them chowing down. It may not be the most sanitary location to eat, but the food was made with a lot of love (and it was prayed for)!

The Trendsetter

The kids are calling me Ma or Momma now. Benedict, the one pictured above started it to make Raf-Raf (the new kid) mad, because he's always clinging to me. Then, everyone else followed...

My Uncle's Birthday

We just happened to go to Tito Ronnie's grave on January 27... what would have been his 53rd birthday.

LivELY

There were many advantages living at Eastwood City with Tito Ernie and Tita Miriam (other than hot water and air conditioning). One of which was the outdoor concerts held in the circle. Here's a pic of a legend in Philippine Rock... Marcus of Eraserheads.
